I'll tell you one thing the metal coat can be used for:attatch it to a certain Pokemon and trade it with somebody and it'll evolve.Here are two Pokemon I know that can evolve by a metal coat:onix and syther.
use a metal coat
There are no codes for Pokémon X or Y. If you want a Scizor, trade a Scyther that's holding a Metal Coat and it'll evolve afterwards. You can get a Metal Coat at the Poké Ball Factory.
Metal coat- 8% chance in the Gen II games and 5% in other games (note you can not find it on Magneton in Gen II games, only Magnemite.) I have been trying for hours however on Silver with no luck...I would say more like .8% because I have caught about 60 with no metal coat. Whatever the case, it is extremely rare and unless you have extreme patience and nothing to do that is actually productive (LOL) I wouldn't bother trying to find it on a Pokemon.
In Pokémon X and Y, the item called Metal Coat can be found inside the Poké Ball Factory, which is near Laverre City.The Magneton found in the Lost Hotel (and on Friend Safaris), as well as Metang and Bronzong (Friend Safari only) have a low chance (5%) of carrying this item. This chance is increased to 20% if you have a Pokémon with the ability Compound Eyes leading your Party.
Dive is no longer a TM or a HM in Pokemon X/Y. You'll have to have a Pokemon learn it naturally.
Parfum Palace. Find the owner's Furfrou and he will give you it.
*Mew is not catchable in Pokemon x and y, but you can get him online from wondertrades and such. Mewtwo however, is catchable and you can find him in the cave in pokemon village.
v= l x w x h (length x width x height)
