How do you get the cargo plane in gta sa?

The airports at San Fierro and Las Venturas are the best bet. They usually have a better selection, like the Shamal jet. The airport at Los Santos doesn't seem to have such an exciting mix.

C.J. has to pass missions at the Flying School in Verdant Meadows and get his pilot's licence, before he can have access to all the airports.

well you cant go on it as you get a five star wanted level by going near the runway or planes, but a lucky jump from a hovering helicopter can get you on the wing of it.if you manage to stay on you will die and respawn at the hospital if the plane leaves liberty city.i did it once, when i was online.

Once CJ has completed all the Flying School missions and gets his pilot's licence, he can access all the airports and planes in them, in San Andreas. You just get in the plane, as if you were jacking a car, and fly them according to the lessons learnt at Flying School.
