One of the other posts I read said you get it as loot from the Mexican Cartel job in the boss tier. I don't know if this is true though - I did all of the Mexican Cartel job a while back and still have a highlighted private jet (airline pilot image) on the Travel to the Old Country job (I can't remember anymore what loot I did get from the Cartel job). Sorry, I don't know if this answer will be useful. But when I figure it out I'll come back and post about it!

You dont. it automatically equips weapons (your best ones) and uses those in a fight/war or anything else you need it for.

No...it means you will use 7 energy and you are required to have at least 1 mafia member. You do not lose that member. 30 Energy and 31 mafia means t uses 30 energy and you must have 31 people in your mafia.
Why do some people have no properties tab on Mafia Wars?
Because they haven't bought any properties.OR (just to add on),for newer mafia wars account created (at least I am certain in Facebook) they have no properties tab. They have been replaced by Rackets which in trade have something call the influence points which uses the stats to upgrade on, and their stamina now only requires one point to upgrade instead of the normally two points required. Try to do some search on this even in the zygna forum, you will get some more indication on this development of theirs.Hope this helps.
