If it has a warrentee or your somewhere like wallmart you go to the help dest and they will refund it for the amount payed, store credit or a trade-in for the item
When you take back an item that you purchased, they give you cash back (instead of a gift card to that store).

I doubt that Advanced Auto Parts will refund you the money after you have already purchased the item they day before.

It is dependent on the store that you purphased the item from. Some will allow you, others will not. Typically, they ask you for the credit card you used when you bought the item and refund the money back onto the card.
You cannot 'refund' donuts, they must be purchased in the game which will be charged to your apple account.

Since eBay (not the seller) issued the refund and you have already been refunded, you are not responsible for returning the item. If you had not been refunded yet, and the seller was going to issue the refund themselves, they had the right to ask for the item to be returned before issuing the refund. In this instance, however, this is not the case. Unless eBay or the shipping company asked for the item, you don't need to return it.
Take it to the store. I used to be a District Manager for Aldi, they will replace it for you. If you don't want a replacement and just want a refund, they should do that for you no problem.
