How do you get a star on a grand prix 150cc in Mario kart Wii?

You have to rank at least one star in every cup in 50 cc to mirror mode in single player. Your rank is based on your driving technique on the track. A one star rank is the next best rank after an A. You can also earn 2 and 3 stars if you perform well on the track. 3 stars is the best rank you could earn. To earn at least one star, you have to do the following:

Get a final score of 52 or better.

Lead most of the laps.

Stay in first place for a good period of time.

Do a lot of tricks on ramps.

Avoid having to use Bullet Bills to catch up.

Use lots of techniques such as wheelies, avoiding POW Blocks, etc.

Do not fall off edges too much (one time is acceptable). If you get hit by many Spiny Shells and still win, this indicates that you are resistant and will probably have a high rank.

Do not get hit very many times by any item!

You can only see your golden star when you play online.

Try and beat the CPU players by a quite far distance+don't: Bump a lot,Get hit by CPU items a lot,fall a lot,Don't get stuck a lot.

Try and have 53 points or over to get at least 1star on the cup on the cup your

playing on.

Try and have 57 points or over to get at least 2star rank on the cup your playing on.

Try and have 60 points and do better than you usually do to get 3star rank on the cup your playing on.

(Its probably easier if you do most of the game because you'll show even more of the game completed so the think your really good).(When I done the whole game except from getting stars on cups,It was a lot easier for me).
