How do you get a tank on saints row 3?

There are 2 kinds:

* Rhino: spawn cheat, Area 69 AKA Restricted area AKA no man's land, steal it during 6-Star Wanted Level, get 100% completion rating to spawn one at Johnson House (Getting 100% also gives you a hydra) * SWAT Tank: must be stolen during final mission, "End of the Line" (Sweet Johnson) I recommend this strategy: steal it, go to San Fierro, go to Import Export Crane, get in crane, pick up tank, dunk in water until u fail mission BUT DO NOT LET GO, then lift it up, put it on dry land get in, save it and enjoy- it's nearly indestructible.

You can steal a Rhino tank from Fort Zancudo, or you can order one from the Cache and Carry website for $1.5 million. You must own an aircraft hangar, to store a vehicle of that size, a garage will not do.

The most exciting and fun way to get a Rhino tank, and keep it, is to go into Area 69, which will be highly dangerous, but you can always try and jetpack in or chopper in, and find the Rhino there, drive it out of the compound and over to Verdant Meadows airstrip and stash it in the large hangar at the bottom of the airstrip, then save the game at the office opposite. <br /><br /> I managed to do this the first time round, and it was great fun.or write AIWPRTON

You have to download The Ballad of Gay Tony. Then the tank will be in the police station that is in the top right corner of the 2nd city. You have to go online to get the tank. Its not available for story mode. There is also a street racing cop car there too. It's awesome!
