How do you get baby wolves in Minecraft 1.2.3?

To get baby wolves you have to feed 2 wolves wheat. they have to be close to each other so you can lure them with the wheat if you just hold it in your hand . I am not sure if this works with tamed wolves but i have done it with wild wolves. Also the 2 parents follow the baby just like any other animal.

first you need to get as many bones as you can.

then click the bones on a wolf.

it will then be tamed. you will know if it has a red collar.

then do the same thing with another wolf.

after they are both tamed feed steaks to both of them so they have hearts above the wolves heads.

when they are both in love they will breed a pup.
