The easiest way is to heat it and here's how.
Lay a paper towel over the hardened wax. Place a hot iron on top and move it over the paper towel. The heat will melt the wax and the paper towel will absorb it. Repeat as necessary until all the wax is gone.
You can keep using the same paper towel over and over, but if it gets too full of wax, grab a fresh one.
This method also works on wax spills on carpeting, tablecloths, counters, etc.
Alternatively, you could freeze the wax on your fireplace surround using ice cubes, then chip it off since the marble shouldn't scratch but the heat method is faster and easier with less mess.
If it's a small area, pour very hot water onto it which will soften it, then use a wooden or plastic implement to slide the wax off. Put cloths around the area first so the water doesn't cascade all over the floor! If it's a larger area of thinly spread wax, it's easier to use a nylon scourer (this shouldn't scratch the surface) dipped into very hot water and detergent.
Scrape all the excess away & then try some wax stripper, apply & let sit for a while then rinse & see if that helps
Try Goo-Gone that stuff works miracles hopefully it works. You can get it at Walmart or any autopart store
wash it with soap
not candle wax but the wax that you can put wax warmer it was spilled
If you place the silver candle holder into the freezer for an hour or more, the wax will chip right off.
The wax that is burnt off for light or decoration of a candle
Scrape it off.
what you do is you boil a plant and the wax rises to the surface of the water
because, when the wax is lit it burns off as a vapor, when the candle was extinguished the wax vapor was still in the air, and the wax acts as fuel for the flame of a candle, so the flame combusted and lit the vapor, leading back to the candle wick.
Clean with alcohol.
The candle wax is an insulator.
Use a blow dryer to heat the wax and a clean cotten rag to wipe it off.
Candle wax is the fuel a candle uses to keep burning. So, I guess the effect of the wax is the candle keeps burning.
Candle wax are generally organic compounds. melting of candle wax is a physical property
Use an exacto knife. CAREFULLY.
