Yes, with the exception of legal calls.
Contact your telephone service provider. Only you would have the authority to place a block on INCOMING calls to your own phone. HOWEVER, the prison system may have placed a block on OUTGOING calls made from the corrections department phones.
call you phone service provider.(call da phone company)
Correctional Billing Services should be able to tell you what facility the calls are being made from. Their web address is: https://www.correctionalbillingservices.com.
It may be marginally cheaper, but many correctional facilities require inmates to call collect, even if the number is a local call. In fact, in some states, it may be cheaper to receive calls from a correctional facility on a telephone number with an area code in a different state, because in-state long distance charges may be higher than interstate charges.
No contact and no collect calls..You can send mail and that's about it.
YES you can!!! Call Correctional Billings Systems or look them up online
just call your phone company and let them know you ant to be able to receive the calls, they should guide you. also you can call the place where the calls ill be coming from and they may have more info. some places require you to have money put on your phone from a company that handles those kind of calls. You can, if you know the person from prison calling, otherwise be very careful about these calls as they are known scams that can end up costing you thousands of dollars.
collect call
Inmates at Clayton County Jail typically have access to phones in their housing units and can make outgoing collect calls to approved phone numbers. The recipient of the call will need to accept the charges and follow any specific instructions provided by the facility to receive a call from the inmate.
Touchtone Technologies, Inc. (TTI) just launched the 3G version of their collect 2 cell service. It works with all cell phone providers, credit card payment options available on line. They are working on access from all correctional facilities because its only available by dialing a toll free or local number at this time. google tti collect 2 cell
It depends on the carrier. However - collect calls to mobile (cell) phones are very expensive !
