For this strategy, you need the following games:

Coliseum and Ruby or Sapphire

First you need to snag a Quinlava or Typhlosion in Coliseum and transfer it to our account on Ruby or Sapphire. Let it go to town with another Pokemon to produce Cyndaquil. Note that the Pokemon it breeds with has to have the same egg type, so ask the creepy old man in the day care how they're getting along. The better they seem to like each other, the higher the chance that you'll get an egg. After the egg hatches (this may take a few tries to get it right, or you can use a Ditto for an automatic guarantee that it will) trade it to D+P and enjoy the adowableness.

• There are three ways I know that you can do this.
• The first way is to breed your male Cyndaquil with a Ditto (though I'm not quite sure if you'll just keep getting males or not).
• The second way is to reset your game at the beginning until you get a female Cyndaquil from the Pokeball. You can hard reset (pushing the power button) or soft reset (holding A+B+Select+Start together for GBA games and L+R+Select+Start for DS games).
