It may be possible to remove most of the trace of permanent marker by tracing over the mark on the doll with a dry-erase marker. The dry erase marker will help erase the permanent marker. The same can be used on dry erase boards that have been marked on with permanent marker.

∙ 12y agoThere are two ways that you can do this. The first way is to dampen a small, soft wash rag with water. Add a little hand soap and rub it into the towel making it wet and soapy. Apply to the skin and rub gently. This may take a few minutes before you can notice that it starts to disappear. If that doesnt work, send it to the American girl hospital. First go to the American girl site. Scroll to the bottom of the page and there should be a box with American girl hospital on it, click on it. It should lead you to a page. Read the page then go to the addmitance form which there should be a link to on the HOW TO ADMIT AND AMERICAN GIRL DOLL. Look at that and there should be an option to send it there and get a cleaning. If you look at the instrutions and follow then correctly, you should have your doll clean and ready to go in no time!
