Take a stainless steel spoon and rub it on your hands under cold water kind of like you would with a bar of soap. I don't know how it works but it does. :)
You can also rub your hands on the faucet to remove the smell.

∙ 11y agoOnion and garlic smell on hands will last a couple hours to about a day. You can, however, remove it washing your hands with a stainless steel hand washing block or a stainless butter knife.
