Which of the 4 bases are you refering to.

Celadon: It's down to learning the way the directional pads take you to work your way to get the Elevator Key and then to the Elevator. You will easily make it to the boss then.

Saffron: Head to Floor 5 to get the Key Card, (you will need to use the warp panel and then use it again to get down to the area you need) - You'll see it past the warp panel South on Floor 5. Once you have the Key Card head to Floor 3 and use the key to gain access to the warp panels (that require it) the first will take you to a rival battle. Continue heading that way and you'll eventually make it to Giovanni.

Island 1: It's a case of just following the base round no special tricks.

Island 5: Observe the directional pads and work your way round. (After beating the admin near the entrance (but beyond the directional pads) she'll turn them round so you can get in and out without having to the whole way round. Finish off with the Scientist.
