minute. Minute is part of and hour. Second is part of a minute.
We already know how many seconds there are in 24 seconds (24), so all we need to calculate is the "15 minutes" part. 1 minute = 60 seconds 15 minutes = (15 x 60) = 900 seconds. Add the extra 24 seconds, total = 924 seconds.
Divide the number of seconds by 60. For example 120 seconds divided by 60 is 2 minutes. Of course you may have a decimal or part of a minute if the number of minutes is not a multiple of 60.
Please clarify your question. There are 60 seconds in a minute. I suppose you could say that there is 1/60th of a minute per second. As far as the "in a mile" part, are you asking about a speed or a distance?
