I just had this issue and put the greased cookie sheet on the stove top over med. heat...just long enough to loosen it up with a spatula. Be careful! Still was a little messy but at least I was able to salvage most of the brittle.

How do you dry peanut brittle?

I "saved" a batch of microwave peanut brittle that never got hard. I scraped it into a pan and melted it back down and boiled until the hard candy stage (by candy thermometer or dropping some in water - it should turn brittle and hard). When it was at the hard candy stage, I took it off the burner, stirred in some baking soda and spread it in the greased baking sheet to cool. It brittled up just right!

You would like to make Chardonnay Peanut Brittle but your question is when would you add the Chardonnay and would it replace the water in the recipe?

You should add the Chardonnay towards the end of the cooking process, just before you pour the mixture onto the baking sheet. It can replace some or all of the water in the recipe, but be mindful of the liquid ratio to ensure the brittle sets properly. Make sure to allow the alcohol to cook off slightly so that the flavor concentrates without being overly wet.

How do you remove cookie burn marks on a brand new baking sheet?

To remove cookie burn marks from a new baking sheet, first soak the sheet in warm soapy water for about 15-30 minutes. After soaking, use a non-abrasive sponge or cloth to gently scrub the affected areas. If stains persist, a paste of baking soda and water can be applied to the marks, left for a few minutes, and then scrubbed off. Rinse thoroughly and dry the baking sheet before using it again.

How do you remove peanut brittle from a buttered stone counter top?

To remove peanut brittle from a buttered stone countertop, start by gently prying off any larger pieces with a plastic spatula or a similar tool to avoid damaging the surface. Next, soak a cloth in warm, soapy water and place it over the remaining residue for a few minutes to soften it. After that, use the cloth to scrub away the softened brittle. If any sticky residue remains, a mixture of vinegar and water can help dissolve it further.

How does a baking sheet look like?

A baking sheet is a flat, rectangular metal tray typically made of aluminum or stainless steel. It usually has low, slightly raised edges to prevent food from sliding off and to contain any spills. The surface is smooth and often has a non-stick coating, making it easy to clean and ideal for baking cookies, roasting vegetables, and more. Baking sheets come in various sizes, with the standard size measuring about 18 by 13 inches.

Can you put metal or aluminum in a cooking oven?

Answer: No! Do NOT put aluminum foil in the bottom of an oven, I did that and it ended up melting and baking on the bottom of the oven and it's almost impossible to get it off.
