In a more concealed spot, try a small amount of nail polish Remover on a Q-Tip and dab it on the flooring. If the laminate finish doesn't change much, try a dab on the marker. If that removes the marker, do the whole effected area. Don't sand. I've always tested a small area before I've done the rest. Spray deep woods off on it, wipe it up with a paper towel. This may take 2 tries. Also Consider: The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is a wonderful product that removes very tough stains. It has replaced a sponge in my house.
Try: Alcohol. Windex. cheap nail polish remover. Avoid anything with oil in it.
Get magic eraser and rub on floor until gone. If you get permanent marker on granite, get nail polish remover and rub until gone. If you get permanent marker on your skin, get a magic eraser and rub.
Spray bleach or a mr. clean magic erasure
I have found nothing to get permanent marker off of anything. That is why it is called permanent. It stays.

I would try fingernail polish remover. That will take permanent marker off of almost anything.

bleach or hard scrubbing um, try this, put dry erase marker on top of the permanent marker and erase it with a tissue
A permanent marker was used to stay forever, but they don't. A regular marker is easy to wash off and doesn't stay for a very long time.
