How do you upgrade weapons on Maplestory?

There are only 2 ways to get powerful weapons; scrolling and buying scrolled weapons.

There are 5 types of scrolls which you can use:

10% scrolls - work 10% of the time. Add 5 attack (not sure about magic attack)

30% scrolls - work 30% of the time. Same as 10% scrolls but can "blow up" the item 50% of the fail rate.

60% scrolls - work 60% of the time. Add 2 attack (not sure about magic attack)

70% scrolls - work 70% of the time. Same as 60% scrolls but can "blow up" the item 50% of the fail rate.

100% scrolls - work 100% of the time. Add 1 attack.

Certain monsters can drop them, if you visit the official Maple Story website, it will tell you. Or if you have enough maple leaves, you can turn them into a silver coin. But I would kill monsters to get the weapon because each silver coin equals 500 Maple leaves. And not all monsters drop leaves.

You will need a scroll that will work on the weapon you want to upgrade first. Next you must either have the weapon equipped or have the skill Legendary Spirit for weapons/armor you can not equip. If the weapon is equipped, then all you have to do is double click the scroll. I have never used the Legendary Spirit so someone else will need to put how to do it. Be warned though, the better scrolls have a chance of failing, which can take away the amount of times you can upgrade it or even destroy it depending on type.

you can buy them, earn them from quests or loot them from the boxes and i think that's about it.
