One of the best ways to remove a wine stain from a cotton shirt is to continuously pour club soda on it until the color of the stain fades. After letting it dry, use a paper towel to clean up the remaining club soda that may have split.
answer 1: The colour in the wine is from soaking the skins of grapes in the juice during fermentation. It is not from the grapes, they are colourless. I suppose the colour is what makes it stain. answer 2: Spillling red wine on your shirt makes a red wine stain.. ^_^
I have found that the best thing to remove red wine from carpet is a product that is available for sale called Wine B'Gone Stain Remover Spray. I often find it for sale at wine tasting rooms, but you can also order it online. It does work. This product is called Wine Out. It really does work, it easily removed a stain from my white t-shirt as well. A description can be found here; http://www.buybrandtools.com/acatalog/Gonzo-Wine-Stain-Remover-1oz.html

White wine will usually remove a red wine stain.
Some of the ways that one can get a red wine stain out of a clothing article or from a carpet are to use a towel that blots the red wine up. A towel that is made from paper is often most useful. Another way would be to use to use a damp cold water cloth to gently pluck up the wine from fabrics.
cause it does this is a scientific reason therefore the white wine sinks into the carpet or what ever you have the red stain is and when the white wine sinks into the stain it releases the red stain particles and the red stain particles mix in with the white wine therefore the red stain is vanished
by applying white wine directly to the red wine stain
rose wine
By using a pink based lip and cheek stain, or a pink blusher, or by doing energetic exercise, or eating spicy food, or drinking wine (works for some people). I personally find that the cheek/lip stain works best and is the easiest route. I hear that the one by "Benefit" works well, but I have not tried it out personally.
If the stain is still wet, rinse it with cold water, then soak it with Shout stain remover for 30 minutes. Then spray it again with Shout and wash it in the washing machine with cold water and a half cup of bleach.
A tattoo will not cover up a port wine stain, although in theory you could create a pattern of some sort which would incorporate the stain - but chances are, that would only make the stain more conspicuous, not less.
