You can try placing pie tins of charcoal (not the type that is pre-treated with lighter fluid) in several spots in the basement. You could also try pie tins of cat litter.
clean basement with chlorine bleach, and maintain humidity at less than 55% with a dehumidifier.

I have an old chest that smells like moth balls. How can I get rid of the odor?
i purchased a product called What Odor? that has worked on everything I've tried i reccommend it to you. It has a 100% money back gurantee if it does not work
If you mean the odor of mold or mildew caused from water leaks, yes, diluted chlorine in fresh water will help. However, chlorine--bleach--does NOT kill mold spores. You can put the dilution in a spray bottle CLEARLY MARKED with what's in the bottle. Or, use a broom wet with the dilution across concrete basement floors. Make sure it dries so you don't add more mildew and mold.Though it does not kill mold or mildew, either, spraying Febreeze (TM) high into the air and toward basement walls helps to decrease the mold-mildew odor.
Californium has no odor.
I had this problem too. Just pour bleach in toilet and flush.

What are you doing in my basement? Are you the one who I suspect of having an affair with my wife? The one for whom my wife (who I caught) was washing/drying and rerolling used condoms found in my basement?
Sounds like you main drain is leaking in the basement.
Getting rid of foot odor is hard once it gets bad, but my mother used these to get rid of her foot odor: *Keep your feet clean! Cleanliness kills the bacteria that causes odor. *Keep your feet dry! Socks made of cotton are best to absorb sweat and moisture. *Stay away from garlic, onions, curries, chilis, and alcohol. These can cause foot odor, as well as bad breath.
