The risk for pregnancy after a tubal is 1/1000 and whether you take antibiotics or not is irrelevant.
I know doctors prescribe 2 antibiotics at the same time to get rid of H- Pylori. A bacteria that resides in the stomach and can cause ulcers.
When taking fluconazole, which is for treating fungal infections, nausea is a common adverse reaction. Unfortunately, it may remain until you are finished taking the med. I suggest starting an anti-nausea regimine so you don't feel so bad.... Even with the nausea, you definitely should NOT stop taking the fluconazole or your condition may worsen -- it can be very difficult to get rid of a fungal infection. I suggest that you call your doctor for a prescription for an anti-nausea agent, or of course you may pick up something over the counter....this particular drug (fluconazole) has adverse reactions with certain drugs like warfarin (blood thinner), and benzodiazepines (anti-anxiety meds), certain anti-depressants, and some hypoglycemic agents. Looking at the Davis Drug guide, I do not see any indications that an anti-nausea agent will hurt you....you can just ask the pharmacist to be sure.
I had the nausea for awhile,I was told to try taking 20 mgs morning & 20 mgs at night, This stopped the nausea for me! Hope this helps The nausea caused by Strattera can be eased by taking it with food AND milk (even though the leaflet says it is not necessary). Wait about 10 minutes after eating before taking the medication. In my case, the nausea passed by the third week.
