hold under the bone on your nose. hold it there for a minute. if it doesnt work keep doing it. and keep your head down. if you put it up some of the blood will rush down to your throat and will possibly come out of your mouth.
Pinch the top of your nose, right underneathe the bone where the cartilage starts (the squishy spot). DO NOT PUT YOUR HEAD BACK!!!! Sit upright. lift head later, once the bleeding has subsided.
Nosebleeds are fairly common. They can occur when you go from hot to cold air, stay in dry air too long, or when you blow your nose. I had nosebleeds throughout my childhood, so I can tell you what to do...straight from my doctors mouth.
-If at all possible, bleed into a sink instead of keeping your nose in a tissue. If you keep your nose in a tissue, the blood will clot on it, and when you remove it from your nose, the bleeding will start again.
-Tilt your head forward and down. Contrary to popular belief, you shouldn't tilt your head back. Blood can rush down your throat and fill your stomach, causing vomiting and gagging.
-Pinch the bridge of your nose. Pinching anywhere along the bridge of the nose will slow the flow of blood and help it clot faster (there is a vein there).
-If the bleeding doesn't stop after 15 minutes or becomes severe, head to your local ER. They will treat the nosebleed with packing and/or cauterization (burning the capillary so it stops bleeding).
And finally...
-TAKE NOSEBLEEDS SERIOUSLY. I had a very bad one when I was 13 years old, and I lost 1/3rd of my blood volume through my nose. They can cause fainting if you loose enough blood.
Good luck to you.
o.k what you do is put a tissue under the nose and pinch the bridge of the nose for about 2 minutes then with a clean tissue gently blow into the tissue a long blood clot should come out , discard the tissues and wash your nose and hands. that's how to get rid of a nose bleed. the spurs171 way !!!!!
p.s it works every time.
1. Tilt head forward.
2. Pinch soft part of nose.
3. Breathe through your mouth.
4. Leave blood come out of the nose (but for longer than 10mins).
5. After bleeding stops, clean anywhere that has blood (eg. Hands, face and be sure to clean floors and anywhere that has blood).
Important notes: Do NOT panic!
If bleeding does not stop after 10mins, call for ambulance!
Think that's it
1. sit the casualty down with his head well forward. Do not let his head tip back; blood may run down the back of the throat, which can induce vomiting.
2.ask the casualty to breathe through his mouth (this will also have a calming effect), and to pinch his nose just below the bridge. Help him if necessary.
3.Tell him not to speak, swallow, cough, spit or sniff as he may disturb blood clots. Give him a clean cloth to mop up dribble
4.After 10 minutes, tell him to release the pressure. If the nose is still bleeding, reapply the pressure for a further period of 10 minutes.
if the nosebleed persists beyond 30 minutes, take the casualty to hospital in the treatment position.
5.Once the bleeding is under control, and with the casualty still leaning forwards, gently clean around the nose and mouth with lukewarm water.
6.Advice the casualty to rest quietly for a few hours, and to avoid exertion and in particular, blowing the nose, so as not to disturb the clot
DO NOT PINCH THE NOSE, Tilt the head backwards and apply an absorbent material with light pressure covering the nostrils.
You put a tissue in your nose and tilt your head back. Then wait for it to stop.
A bloodied nose is a nose which is bleeding internally.
Medically speaking, Nose packing is when the medical personnel stuff your nose (usually bleeding nose) with sterile OS or gauze. This usually benefits someone who is bleeding and is used as a compress.
Bleeding at the nose.
The capillaries in your nose break causing the bleeding
u probably got hit in the nose
it depends what you are bleeding from. if you have a nose bleed then it shouldn't bleed for long. if it is a paper cut it shouldn't bleed long. usually if you treat the wound correctly depending on what it is the bleeding should stop within a couple of minuts. it can be bad to bleed for a long time, even fatal
Normally, no. A stroke is internal bleeding (in the brain) and not external.
I wanna knw wat is the cause of bleeding noise
Go and see your piercer to have them help you figure out what it is and how to treat it.
hold your nose and put ice on it
not at all.....this drug can worsen the bleeding. only used in inflammatory conditions not accompanied with bleeding...
