In order to obtain the sinking lure, catch all kinds of fish(except the Loach) then you must go to the northwestern portion of the fishing hole and drop your fishing rod into the water. Leave your lure in for about a minute, and you will either catch a boot, a piece of junk, a bag of rupees, or the rare fishing lure.

The sinking lure is in various places in the fishing place. Sometimes it's by the rocks other times its by the weeds just check everywhere and if you can't find it walk out and walk back in and check again. Also just for fun you can steal the fisherman behind the counters hat. Throw your lure at his head and soon enough you will nick his hat. Now throw your lure into the lake and he'll never get his hat back.

First, you MUST have the Coral Earring, which you get through the games main storyline. Once you have that, proceed to Hena's Fishing Hole in Upper Zora's River, near Iza's Rapid Ride. Talk to Hena, and go fishing. Once you have caught a Hyrule Bass, a Hylian Pike and an Ordon Catfish, go to the North-West corner of The Fishing Hole, beyond the place where you cross a bridge to catch a bottle (See Below). Fish with a Bobber, (The rod you keep) and keep trying. Eventually, you will catch the fabeled Sinking Lure! The Sinking Lure can be used to catch fish incredibly easily, and even the fabled Hylian Loach! But be careful, if Hena sees it, she will confiscate it, but you can get it back by fishing with the rod again in the same place.
