Answer: getting response from MetLife...One of the ways is to call the agent who put this policy in force and ask him or her.

If the agent is not responding or not in business any more you can call MetLife directly. On their website they have several phone numbers listed.

I have had a frustrating experience with calling them where they make you "jump through the hoops" and in the end I felt like I am getting nowhere. I wish there would be a better way but it seems like with all of the technology put in place to assist us it is getting increasingly harder to get to talk to a human. However, I was calling them as an agent. If you call them as an existing client they may be more responsive. Just make sure as much as possible that you get to talk to a representative rather than leaving a message for them. Messages these days take long to be returned.

Another thing to keep in mind is this. You definitely have a right to ask them to respect your time and be responsive. In return, be courteous and respect their time too. Be prepared with your policy number, coverage amount, current premium, etc. The best thing to do is to have your policy next to you when you call so you can look at it if you have to.

Do you have to respond to a medical insurance questionnaire regarding your auto insurance?

Yes, you need to respond. Your claims will not get paid if you don't. You are being sent this letter because of the subrogation or third party liability clause of your policy. They are trying to find out if someone else should be responsible for the bills. Health insurance pays secondary to any auto insurance policy.

yes. plain and simple. you lent the car and then they are a permisable driver. As long as they are not n excluded driver or a resident in your house.
