I have done this. There is a scuff mark remover at your hardware store in the tile section.

I know that they are easily removed from linoleum by rubbing them with the sole of athletic shoes. Try that.
Each tile will cover 2 square feet. You have 64 square feet. You will need 32 tiles.
The thickness of a standard ceramic tile is typically around 3/8 to 1/2 inch. However, the thickness can vary depending on the manufacturer and type of tile. To know the exact thickness of an 8 inch by 12 inch ceramic tile, you would need to check the specifications provided by the manufacturer.
If lemon juice falls on Shahabad tiles, it can cause etching on the surface of the tile due to its acidic nature. This can lead to discoloration or dulling of the tile surface. To prevent damage, it's best to clean up spills promptly and avoid acidic substances on Shahabad tiles.
It depends on the type of tile you have. If the tile is unglazed and porous (as mostly all travertine is) then you will need to seal the tile before you grout it so that the grout does not soak into the tile and cause it to become dull. Follow the manufacturers recommendation for the tile that you have.
Answeri accidently poured some "mr. clean" on my tile floor and left it there becaue i was in a hurry, i came back later to get it up and the grout was like new. i thought the grount was brown, when i moved into the house i didn't know the true color. turns out, it was a light tan, not dark brown. they didn't put sealer on the grout.Tilex, there are some acids always test a small area first. There is a product from Australia called Pink Stuff it is a broom on mop off grout and tile cleaner, no nasties. www.pinkstuff.com.au
Tile is an insulator. If the tile is placed correctly over an existing wood floor and is sealed with grout, it will insulate the room it is in.
You will need to sand the floor to give the thinset something to stick to.
As long as it is not natural stone only the grout must be sealed.
To remove pencil marks from a tile floor, start by using a clean, dry cloth to gently rub the marks. If the marks persist, dampen the cloth with warm water or a mild soap solution and wipe the area again. For stubborn marks, you can also try using a non-abrasive cleaner or a mixture of baking soda and water to create a paste, applying it to the marks and scrubbing gently. Always test any cleaner on a small, inconspicuous area first to avoid damaging the tile.
Mix white vinegar in with warm water and scrub itAny floor cleaner or soap will remove the urine. Ceramic tile is not porous so it will not have been absorbed by the tile. The grout should be sealed so that shouldn't absorb it either. Just clean the floor as you normally would.
We have cheap (but sturdy, nice) tile floors - thanks to our former landlord... I tried some of the crazy crap, offered as "magic" solutions. Miracle Whip, for instance. I got nothing but a scuffed floor with salad dressing smeared all over it. SO glad I was home, alone... LOL Anyway... So - blushing and hurried, I wiped it up. Then I got a bright idea. I grabbed a pencil I didn't care about, turned it around - and used the eraser, right on the floor. Voila! Talk about magic. Those scuff marks came right up. If the eraser gets a little slick, wipe it on your jeans or press a little firmer, as you rub back and forth. Hey, I thought while I was at it - I'd try it on a mild surface sciff (scratch)...worked for that, too. Don't worry, if the eraser seems to leave something behind. Your mop, or a little spit n'shine, will take care of that. Got a big floor, with alot of scuff marks? Try a tennis ball on the end of your mop. Still a bit of work I guess...but wouldn't it be, anyways? At least you won't be on your knees, doing it. Good luck!
Try a bit of cooking oil & a soft cloth or if you want to go straight to the always works plan, just use WD-40 & rub them right off.
There is no reason to wax a tile floor.
