The Ilex forest is a very small maze, and very doable. If you've played the Original Gold and Silver versions, then the remake version of the Ilex forest should not be hard at all. If you haven't played the originals, then i recommend you keep trying through this small maze and you WILL eventually get it right.

One boy will give you the HMO1 Cut if you manage to capture all of his Farfetch'd lost in the eastern part of the forst.
The second person will teach your Pokemon the move Headbutt. He is found in the northeastern part of the forest.

∙ 13y agoWest of Azalea Town. Go in it and get the farfetch'd for the guy and you get cut so then you can make it through the forest and up to Goldenrod
