I do not know but try googling it. That might help you in the future.
the plugs on the back are very difficult. How is this done.
The spark plugs are actually located under the manifold on the top of the engine 3 in front and 3 in back....
you have got to take the Pentium off and then you can change the back spark plugs when you put the Pentium back on you need to tourqe the bolts to 16 inch pounds.
remove intake manifoled to access back 3 plugs. time consuming but can be done
if coils are taken off, then you can access the back plugs ok! coils are on a plate with 3 bolts holding it on to engine. this is the best way to get at back plugs on v6.
easy.........take the old spark plugs out and put the new spark plugs back
generally on a Toyota 3.0 either in a Camry or an Avalon you need to remove the upper intake- also known as the plenium- to gain access to the back spark plugs. You will need to make sure that you have a new gasket for the plenium to avoid any vac. leaks
The spark plugs are on the front and back of a V6 (back ones are tough to get to) L4 right in front. Turn the engine off and take off the spark wires unscrew the plugs
Replacing spark plugs is pretty simple. Disconnect the battery, remove the cover and cables, remove the old spark plugs, put in the new spark plugs, put the cover and wires back on the spark plugs, and reconnect the battery.
righty tighty lefty loosey... are you kidding me? if somethings in the way move it then put it back replace wires on same plugs if that's too difficult most mechanics will do it for under 60 dollars in about 15 minutes
If it is the V6, the plugs are located 3 in the front and 3 in the back. The 3 in front are accessible by removing the plastic cover of the engine. The 3 in back need access by removing the header.
First you remove the spark plug wires from each of the spark plugs, being careful not to wreck the wires. then you get a deep well socket that fits around the spark plugs. then you take out each of the spark plugs. get the new spark plugs and insert them in the spark plug holes. tighten them up and put the spark plug wires back on the plugs. I find there is more room to work if you jack up the front of the truck and remove the wheels. With a long extension you can easily reach five of them thru the wheel well. The one behind the steering shaft on the drivers side is a challenge.
