This is a classic puzzle. If you leave the fox with the chicken, the fox will eat the chicken. If you leave the chicken with the feed, the chicken will eat the feed. So the chicken must either be with the woman, or by itself. The trick is to cross twice with the chicken.
Now you can open the cave (behind a bush on a rock), at the far right of the falls. The purple jewel is in the cave. There is also a Blue Egyptian Lily at the left above where your plane is.

Chickens follow the player if the player holds pumpkin seeds, melon seeds, beetroot seeds, or wheat seeds. Just pull out any of those items and hold it in your hand and walk up to the chicken and it will follow you.
