It is not possible to return to the main menu once you have already loaded your game. They actually made that possible to do on Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time

There are alot of Games :) Ratchet and clank (ps2), Ratchet and clank going commando (ps2), Ratchet and clank up your arsenal (ps2), Ratchet: Deadlocked (ps2), Ratchet and clank going mobile (mobile), Ratchet and clank size matters (psp & ps2), Ratchet and clank clone home (mobile),Ratchet and clank future tools of destruction (PS3), Secret agent clank(PSP), and Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty (Downloadbal on Ps3) At the end of Quest For Booty it says ''the quest continues fall 2009''(autumn time) Excluding Secret Agent Clank(Because it isn't actually a Ratchet and clank game) and the ones on mobile there will be a new game fall 2009. It is only on PS3 (Also a follow up of the other Ratceht and Clank games on PS3) It is called 'A Crack in Time' and the main antagonist is Dr. Nefarious. ( the weird robot who freezes every time he is screaming in Ratchet and Clank 3) (and maybe Laurence).There is also is a miniture boss called which we see in Ratchet and Clank Future:Tools of Destruction. Now there is a new ratchet and clank called Ratchet and Clank Future a Crack in Time (ps3 only)

Ratchet and Clank Quest for Booty: 3.7 (good) Ratchet and Clank A Crack in Time: 4.8 (must buy) Unfortunately, I could not find ratings for Ratchet and Clank 1, 2, or 3. But, Tools of Destruction, might I add, got a 5 on everything, graphics, control, music/sound fx/voice acting, and play value. Therefore, it is the best ratchet and clank game with a rating. Well, he returned already, in ACiT, and after being saved by Lawrence, who teleported him off his saucer before it crashed during the final battle, retreated to an unknown location. It's unlikely he will return as a main villain again.
