How do you play two players in Grand Theft Auto 4?

U can't play GTA IV with 2 players i mean Split - Screen u can play online by registering yourself and then use the phone with the arrow up button on your keyboard then select menu then select multiplayer. If u have a Illegal GTA IV dont do multiplayer then u can be detected with playing multiplayer on a illegal GTA IV. Only use it at your own risk. i am not responsible if u do that. there is a small red icon on the map, look at the key and it should say "2 player mode" - head towards it and it will be a spinning icon of two red people next to each other. walk into it and then in the top left corner of the screen it will say something like "player two press any button to join the game". on a second controller, press any button and it should automatically go into 2 player mode. if not, get a new controller, or have the disk cleaned at your local game shop

assuming this is san Andreas you can find 2 player icons on the map you have to go there

Yes, find a free-roam location (icon looks like two red people), or a rampage location (icon is a skull) and you can have a second person for those events.

You can get Multiplayer on Xbox Live or PlayStation Network easily but only On Grand Theft Auto IV.
