first, fill the pot with salt water. once you have done that, you need to pick up one of the blackened rocks by the bridge leading to the science center. the villager will take the rock to the fire and let it heat up till it's red. once it is red, take it to the pot and now you have boiling water. this works in making cloth and soap

HOW TO BOIL WATER IN VIRTUAL VILLAGERS 4 - THE TREE OF LIFE

To make boiling water , you need :

1. Fresh water ( Get it from the plate thing at the debris bit beside the tree of life. Drop your villager on it and they will carry water to the pot in the lab.)

2. A hot rock ( Drop a villager at the black rocks at the blackberry bush in the west of the island. Once you drop your villager on the rocks they will carry it to the fire. When the rock goes red , drop an adult villager onto it and the will take it to the pot but there has to be water in the pot first though.)

ONCE THE WATER AND ROCK IS IN THE POT

Once the water and the rock is in the pot , you will have boiling water! ( The second puzzle will be complete) You can also make stew by putting herbs in.

You Would Go To Where The Bridge Is to The Reserch Lab And You Would Look Exactly Toi The Left Look On The Ground And You Will See Black Rocks Click On The Rock And Your Villager Will Put It Under The Fire And The Wait Until The Rock Turns Orange And Red And It Will Slide From Under The Rock Click On The FIRE And They Will Bring It To The Pott !

By the waterfall and under the cliff near the ocean, there are bowls that you can fill with water. Salt water is for cloth and soap, and fresh water is for stews and honoring the tree. Take a villager and put them on one of the pots, preferably salt because soap is easy to make. They will scoop up some water and put it in the pot. Next, look for the blackened rocks near the bridge leading to the science center. Have a villager pick up one of these rocks and take it to the fire. When the rock turns red, have a villager pick it up and take it to the pot. The water is now boiling! But you don't have to stop there. Take 3 villagers and put them on the soap plant, which is a white plant near the bridge. They will take it to the cooking table. Then, put a villager near the table and they will cook the 3 plants. After they are done and black steam rises from the pot, put a villager on it and they will stack the soap in a box, and another puzzle is completed besides the water!

You have to go to the rock near the bridge connecting to the reasearch lab, drop an adult villager on it and if the fire is on the villager brings it to the fire and you have to wait a while for it to warm up and once the top of the rock is red and its under a towel you put an adult villager on it and you need water in the pot for the rock to boil the water and you only have a certain amount of time before the boiling water dies out.
