How can i stop my boyfriend taking drugs?

if your boyfriend really loves you and cares about you,he should understand the concern you feel for him when he smokes pot,its understandable to be angry with him,but if he isn't pushing it on you or its not affecting your relationship,maybe you should let him carry on with his smoking,you never know he may get sick of it.

like weve been going out for almost a year and when i first met him he was a TOTAL POT HEAD! like he smoked 2 or 3 times a day ! then he got in trouble with the police and his parents, and went through all this stuff. hes just now getting his life back together. but hes smoking again, like he never really stopped completely, but he slowed down ALOT! now hes doing it everyday again. And i cant help but get upset, because i know how bad it ruins everything in your life, my parents do it and they have nothing to show for their habit. i hate to see him ruin his life, he doesnt even realize that hes doing it all over again, hes screwing his entire future up. I talked to him about it, but everytime we do he gets pissed at me, i tried telling him that its tearing us apart, but he just seems like he doesnt even care anymore. i want to help him so bad, but i dont want to lose him. But all hes doing is pushing me further and further, and getting himself into trouble, and i told him i wasnt helping him if he got in trouble again. it breaks my heart to watch him do all of this, because i know hes better than that. please if you know anything that i can do to convince him to stop; or help him get off, please just tell me, anything.

There is no way for you to stop him from taking drugs. He is making the decision to do so, so you can best help him by getting him to agree to get professional help. And, if that does not work and you still want to help him change, then the other option is intervention. Get professionals involved.

Please realize that someone that is taking drugs has a disease. They are unable to help themselves, and they need others to help them make changes that will turn their behavior around. And, even save their life.

If you think he has a drug problem, and you really care about him, then save his life by being proactive. Take action!!!

You should have him arrested. If he is a minor, the charge will be expunged from his record on his 18th birthday.
