How can you get your baby back from social services on the sims?

Sorry, but once the baby is gone and you save the game, there is no way for that family to get that baby back. Another family in that neighborhood can adopt it, and i suppose you could maneuver things so that the baby lives with its original family again, but the family will not "recognize" him/her as the same baby. If the social worker takes the baby, but then you exit without saving, when you came back to the lot you will be back to before the baby was taken. but unless you fix whatever situation caused the social worker to come, they will still come and take the baby away.

∙ 13y agoDuring gameplay, press "CTRL+SHIFT+C" and type in the cheat code. "Testingcheatsenabled true" Now press "M" to get a map view of the town. Put the mouse on every house in the town. This display shows how many households are in the house. Once you've found your children, visit that household and hold down left shift and click on your children. Choose the option "Add sim to active family"

1. Open the cheat box.
2. Type "testingcheatsenabled true". (Without the speech marks!)
3. Open another Sim's profile.
4. Hover over the baby.
5. Press Shift + Click.
6. Click on "object".
7. Click "delete".
The baby will disappear! No neglecting!

∙ 12y agoIf the child was taken by the social worker the parent Sim can't get them back but another Sim can, just have them call the adoption service. However the child won't have any of it's old memories.

There is a way to delete sims on the Sims 3, but i don't know how to do that. What I do know is that if you leave the baby till it becomes really lonely, and then eventually a social worker will take it away. Then you can never have the child back. :)

You must pay attention to every whim of your baby! If the baby cries, don't just leave it laying there in the floor or its crib. You must feed it. Change it's diaper. Play with him for some social interaction. Anything to make him happy! I mean, that's what you would do in real life isn't it? And that's what would happen if you didn't take care of your baby in real life - social services will come take them away! Just try each of those until the baby stops crying. If he stops crying, then you have satisfied him! Then, social services won't come collecting your baby because you neglected him.
