What I tried was to switch off the phone, take off the plastic cover on the back of the phone, any memory card / SIM card and the battery. Then I squeezed it all over and it's working fine now. I hope it's not gonna happen again!

∙ 13y agojust leave it for a while & let the battery run out, or try taking the battery out. most LG touchscreens do this at some point - same problem :)

Occasionally the screen is not very responsive. I have read a heap of reviews and they all say the same thing. It is not really a touch screen, it is just a keyboard on the inside. I got a brand new LG Optimus and within a week the screen was not responding to touch. The only thing to help is turn it off for a while or take out the battery and fingers crossed it works again.
