Make sure you remove any leftover residue from the original adhesive tape using a scraper and/or Goo Gone adhesive remover. Then clean the trim and the contact area of the car using rubbing alcohol as directed. Use 8 inches of 3M brand Mounting Tape (Part# 03410) per pound (454g) of trim weight.
Super glue may do it temporarily, but it's a better repair if you use epoxy.
Go to your local auto parts store and for about 5-10$ you can pick up door/panel trim glue. Reguler glue will gt hard and brittle and it will just falloff again.
