Paster of paris is a form of drywall, so I'm unclear on your meaning except possibly you have a wall with plaster over lath and want to cover it with drywall. You can find the studs electronically and go ahead and attach drywall to the face of the plaster with extra long screws. - Personally, I would rather repair whatever is wrong with the plaster and lath.

You can build forms for putting drywall on the ceiling from 2X4's. However, they are not tremendously sturdy. Best is to rent a mechanism which will lift the drywall onto the ceiling and then secure it using nails or screws.

You can glue it or install furring strips and then nail to them. Usually you want a gap between the concrete and the drywall. Moisture can collect between the two. Usually you would hang a sheet of plastic, anchor 1x2 or 2x4 on the wall or build a complete 2x4 wall in front of the concrete, insulate it and then drywall.

Traditional wall anchors can pull out of plaster walls when attempting to hang curtains. A better option is to use toggle bolts and brackets.

You hold it up square to the wall on a raiser and nail or screw it into the studs about 1 screw per every 12 inch.

Plaster and drywall are two different materials used to construct interior walls. They are not usually used together since they serve the same purpose.

You can, but if the plaster is uneven at all, you should nail on 1x4 first to mount the drywall onto.
