Depending on the Mixer itself, you might hook it up to a multiple of things. DJ mixers are usually connected to 1 or more sources of sound. In most DJing set-ups, these imput items would be turntables or CD players. Depending on the amount of "inputs" the mixer has, you can add a variety of sources. On the "out" connection, the mixer is generally plugged into an amplifier so you will be able to hear the sound that is produced. You might also have a CD burner, PC, or other items connected to your "out" plugs.

no you don't i think you just have to get an ethernet cable and rig it up like that from the PC straight to the 360
HDMI is currently the best connection you can use. Actually, VGA is the best because it is easy to hook your PC up to you're TV. In fact I'm using it right now! P.S. If any one wants to hook up their TV and their PC, then let me know, I will give them the instructions.

What you need is an USB recording interface with a microphone preamp (like M-Audio Fast Track), they usually cost $100 and up.
