To my knowlege the spider fuel injector system came out in the 96 models. 1995 still had the throttle body injection.
It is located under the upper intake manifold. The bank of injector poppets are also known as the spider.
To replace the fuel injection spider on a 1994 Chevy Blazer, first, disconnect the negative battery cable and relieve the fuel pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls. Then, remove the intake manifold, disconnect the fuel lines, and take out the old fuel injector spider assembly. Install the new assembly, reattach the fuel lines, and reassemble the intake manifold before reconnecting the battery and testing the system. For a detailed diagram, refer to a repair manual or online resources specific to the 1994 Chevy Blazer.
Yes. It is not visable. It is under the upper intake manifold, attached to the bank of injector poppets (aka the spider).
The fuel cutoff switch, on your 1998 Chevrolet Blazer, can be found on top of the fuel injector pump. The fuel injector pump is on the back side of the engine near the top.
The fuel pressure regulator woiuld be located under the upper intake manifold on a 4.3L. It is attached to the bank of injector poppets aka "the spider".
It would be found under the upper intake manifold. It is attached to the bank of fuel injector poppets aka the "spider".
This is confusing, a 1998 does not have a carb.
I'll bite, how do you install a fuel injector on a 1994 Nissan Maxima.
A fuel injector on the vehicle is not serviceable, replace it with a new one.
If you have CFI (Central Fuel Injection) the "spider" would be found under the upper intake manifold. The upper intake manifold has to be removed to gain access. If you have TBI (Throttle Body Injection) it doesn't have a "spider".
