First remove the mowing deck entirely (pretty easy). Unplug the connection on the front, remove the center lug that whole drive unit will drop down and release the belt. There are two belt guides there, loosen them but you don't have to remove them. At this point the rear belt guide needs to be loosened but only on the left side, it's top mounted. Now your old belt should slide out. To install wrap the belt around the rear pully wheel and reinstall that rear belt guide. Thread belt around the pully tightners (I leave my e-brake on so there is less tension as I'm working). Finally wrap around the drive system, push that into place, tighten the nut and two guides.... done.

If there is a blown fuse on a Sears riding lawnmower, the fuse box is located below the seat. It is not common for a riding lawnmower to blow a fuse so there could be another cause like a short in the wiring.
