They are numerous ways such as electric art welding, riveting and soldering.
a metal and a non metal, provided the electronegativity difference between the two is more than 1.8
Thre two types of soldering iron are straight and hatchet soldering iron
Soldering and brazing both join two parts by melting a different metal as an adhesive without damaging the two parts being joined. Soldering uses a different metal that has a lower melting point (usually lead-based) than the metal used in brazing (usually silver). This allows easier joining in soldering, but a stronger bond in brazing.
mercury is a metal. It is liquid at room temperature.
copper is a metal
melt the plastic to the metal
you can melt them together
No!
when it melts the metal part are joined together strongly
Chain mail is linked rings of metal.
A wood to metal fissting is a joint designed to join together a structual component made out of wood to a structural component made out of a metal.
There are several methods for joining metal to metal using heat: Brazing and soldering are used to join two pieces of metal without melting them, by melting a different metal with a lower melting point, and letting it flow between the pieces as a joint. (Brazing is generally done at a higher temperature than soldering.) A person who does this could be called a solderer or a brazer, (but this is not a common term). Welding is used to join two pieces of metal by melting them at the join and sometimes an additional filler piece is added. A person who does this is called a welder.
To solder
Epoxy is best for the two materials
A good epoxy will join metal to metal. I use Ren-Weld and J B Weld with a lot of success. Autobody shops use an epoxy called Speedgrip -very expensive !
