The constant state of the internal environment is known as homeostasis. The processes the body goes through to achieve homeostasis are called homeostatic mechanisms. On a cold day, the decrease in body temperature is picked up by thermo receptors in the hypothalamus and peripheral thermo receptors in the brain. The hypothalamus is the modulator which stimulates different responses from the body to increase in heat production. These include; Shivering (minor contractions of muscles to generate heat), vasco constriction of the blood, decrease body temperature, pilo erection (hairs stand on end) and behavioral responses such as putting on warm clothes and staying under shelter. This process is known as a feedback system and its purpose is to gain homeostasis.

shivering
No. As the chill wind wind chill might imply, which chill temperatures are colder than the real temperature.
No
No wind chill factor at that temperature.
The lower temperature is called wind chill
No wind chill factor. The temperature still feels like 68 F.
Wind Chill is the measure of the perceived apparent temperature, whereas temperature itself is the measure of kinetic energy of the moving particles of matter.
The wind chill factor makes the outside temperature feel like -9.7°F.
-8 F
Actual temperature reflects actual temperature. Wind chill is an attempt to quantify the effective lowering of the air temperature caused by the wind affecting the rate of heat loss from an exposed person.
Wind chill is important because it is how the temperature FEELS. the actual temperature is one thing but the wind chill is the combination of the cool wind air and the actual temperatur. it is important because when you are looking at a weather forcast say on weather.com, and it says feels like, that is basically the temperature+windchiill.
Wind chill is -5º F
