There are many ways, the most inhumane way is probably putting salt in a bowl then dropping the snail in it, (this is highly unrecommended as it is pure torture) the most humane way would be to either put beer in a big bowl then let the snail crawl in it (and drown) or simply putting the snail on the floor then dropping a brick on it from a great distance
