How do you know a cat likes something?

Well it depends on the mood of the cat. My family in over the years I've being alive about more than half of them likes me. One is I do not harm the cat in any shape or harm. Two gently I pet the cat and three the cat will start to purr, purring is a sign of affection or enjoyment of the cat to the person. One of the cats i own loves to follow me everywhere and this might be a sign the cat likes you. If the cat gets angry its anger will go away in a few hours its a typical cat in a daily life.

If it likes you, it might:

• rub against your legs
• come to you when you come into the room
• purr when it sees you and not flinch away from your hand
• lick you after you stroke it - it's returning the favor
• roll over on its back and show its belly

It bangs it's head against you. This is called 'bunting'. They also enjoy slobbering on you whilst they purr and this is also a good sign. Females will often stick their bums in your face which is very good of them. They also enjoy crapping in your boots, not the cheap twenty quid ones though, only the nice expensive Firetrap jobs.
