Hi, I usually incubate and hatch chicken eggs, but at the moment have a Ebden goose egg in the incbator with my chickens eggs. I am not 100% sure ,but I would assume that a developing gosling in an egg is similar to that of a chicken egg. To tell if the gosling is still alive or not,use a very bright lumin flashlight to candle the egg. Make sure you do it in a very dark room. Depending on how long the egg has been incubating, you should see a dark mass inside of it. There should be movement. Oh yes, I almost forgot to mention...when candling the egg, place the flashlight on the biggest end and make sure that only the egg receives the light of it(not shining through your fingers etc). If your gosling is alive inside of the egg, it is amazing to watch(sometimes catching a glimpse of a foot or beak). Keep in mind, it takes 28-30 days for a goose egg to hatch.
Good Luck !!!!

i just got a baby pigeon and an egg. the egg is froma different mom but i paind for a different pigeon to take over the moms place .idk if the pigeon is egg is dead it is a little cold but i put a lamp over it and the ababy pigeon is sitting on it .how do i know if it is dead ? please help me :(
There are several ways to see if your goose egg is dead, or still. The preferred method is to crack the egg open slightly and check for signs of life manually, but the otherwise you can send it through an MRI. The MRI will show whether it is dead or alive, but may cause damage to the goose if it is alive. It may cause cancer and in severe cases, death.

if it turns black it is dead if its not your in luck cause its not dead
all ducklings should hatch at the same time so the ones that don't are the dead ones.
Through smell.. When its unpleasant, it is actually dead. But if it doesn't smell unpleasant,it is really alive.......
You can shine it under a light and if you see any fetus or even a "spiderlike" red shape in the egg, it's alive.
Otherwise it's probably dead.
Ok so first your going to want to get a light , then shine it on the egg , and if it has a (spiderlike) red oval/circle then it's alive.. probably, other than that it's most likely dead:(
If it looks slighty blue, it is dead...
I think the bird in dies. I had found a robins egg once that had a dead baby robin in it.
All species of Birds are born alive in the egg! The only bird born NOT in an egg is a DEAD bird! All birds are born in an egg.
the bird would take the egg from back from you bird saves it they hatch into cute baby birds
It means that the baby bird inside got out.
No. It will be pushed out of the nest.
egg, baby, adult bird, and death
It either hatches and a baby bird comes out, or the egg rots.
egg
wait. keep it warm in blankets and heat pads. you will soon see
simple when the baby bird is growing it needs some protection but the egg still needs to be soft for the baby bird to brake when its grown
if the egg is cold the egg is dead and you will hear peeping when it is going to hatch
usally yoke if it is dead
