Try looking into genealogy research on your family to trace back what it says about your ancestors. However ancestry records on gypsies will be difficult to obtain. They often were not recorded in census records.
If a person is gypsy their not really all that different from a non gypsy. Meaning the might like Basketball, soccor, tennis, boxing, football, etc. They like the same music we do, they even play the same games we play as well as instruments. But their traditions are sorta different from ours...this doesn't make em a bad race of people to get to know if that's what is bein asked. However there are different types of gypsies which mean different culture. If you wanted to marry one..its difficult but if you truely love him/her it'll work out in the end, however,it depends on the parents/family members trust me its not easy but love is worth it. To take a qoute doont be fallin in love as she's walkin away like Shakespeare said about love.
Most likely you would grow up in the Romani culture and live according to their ways/rules.

Could you mean "rakli"? Rakli is "non-Romani ("Gypsy") girl" or "non-Romani ("Gypsy") daughter". That is contrasted to "chavi" which is "girl" or "daughter" but refers to Romani.
