Try to start the engine. If it's electric start, it will be reluctant to start, or not do anything, usually make squealing noises. If it's pull-start, it usually is a lot harder to pull, and won't react much to any pulling at all.
No start No compression Seized?

Broke down
Need to know what system blew.
you blew a engine
Not sure I understand. At this point everything that happened is mute. You now have rebuilt your engine and tried to start it. It didn't work so you checked and the 80 amp. fuse was blown. You went to start again and the check engine light is on but as you cranked the engine the distributor blew? If so explain blew? 80 amp Fuse still OK? Was it the distributor fuse that blew?
if engine overheated when heater core blew, u may have damaged bearings in engine, or dropped a rod, or maybe water pump went out as well
It blew a hole in the intake manifold? You probably broke a pushrod. Get this engine to a mechanic or engine rebuilder.
how do you know if you blew your transmission?
No, You are not liable.
Because a spark plug blew up
if you destroy a engine you will know, if you run it out of oil the engine could seize up or throw a rod it it seizes up, it will not turn over at all and it is pretty much a total loss, if you throw a rod you will notice a large hole or crack in the engine block and loads of oil leaking out, this too is pretty much a total loss
