your head itches
The first sign to look for is an itchy scalp. The second sign is if you see something that looks like dandruff & it doesn't come off easily, it could be lice or a lice egg that hasn't hatched yet. But sometimes you can have lice & you don't have any symptoms. Lice is sometimes mistaken for dandruff. Lice eggs are light or dark, depending on how light or dark your hair is. The only way to know for sure that you have lice, is to check.
No. You need a special type of shampoo to get rid of lice.
It is a common misconception that lice jump. However, lice do not jump, they travel from head to head by sharing hats, pillows, brushes and other hair items.
it takes 1-2 WEEKS for lice egg(s) to hatch
Yes. Parasites, such as lice, have a symbiotic relationship with their hosts, but only the parasite benefits.
Get a haircut, a really short haircut, if you can make your head bald do it. Not even one lice will be left.
you know if your brother has lice if you see white spots in his hair or if you see him scratching his hair. :)
lice eat dead skin in your hair/head but i don't know why.
Head lice and pubic lice are two different species of lice, I don't know if it's impossible to spread it, it would however be very hard for the head lice or louse to survive
I dont know my whole house has lice even me sorry i cant answer your question.
By inspecting their hair.
well we don't no for sure how many soldiers had lice but what we do know is that most of the British and German soldiers suffered from serious cases of lice. sometimes the soldiers would spend their day picking of lice from their clothing and out from their hair this would be one of the highlights of their day! strange but true! as i said earlier we don't know how many soldiers actually had lice for sure.
to be honest I do not know. But all I know is that it may be bad, for your hair and the lice will not go away. But if it does then problem solved. But if they come back 2-3 weeks later from the eggs that were in your hair then you will have to use lice treaments
I don't know if I'm just immune to lice, but I have dry scalp and my sister has lice, which I didn't get over the course of a month. Also, it seems logical. The dry scalp can prevent the lice to get to the scalp to such the blood.
About half of patients with pubic lice don't know they have it. It's not clear how long you can be infested without knowing.
I don't know if the insects bleed, but I'm guessing you're wondering if you will bleed if you scratch during a pubic lice infestation. Yes, you may bleed if you scratch enough while having pubic lice.
It's probably irritated from the chemicals in lice shampoo. If it kills the lice, what is that shampoo doing to your head? Your skin absorbs some of any liquid it comes in contact with you know…
You find little white bugs in their fur
