How do you feel if "you think you have lung cancer"? As distinct from how you feel if you HAVE lung cancer? If I thought I had it, I would be nervous, scared, and probably very much afraid to go to my doctor. If I really wanted to get some resolution, I would get to my doctor immediately.

∙ 10y agolung cancer can start from any part of the lungs and may affect any part of the respiratory system... it can cause breathing and heart problems such as
1] pleural efflusion, which is the build up of flud between the outer lining of the lungs and the chest wall.. this is the common condition with lung cancer.
2] coughing up large amounts of bloody sputum
3]collapse of lung [pneumothorax]
4]blockage of the air way [bronchial obstuction]
5]recurrent nfection such as pneumonia
6]precardial effusion which is the buildup of the fluid in the space between the heart and the pericardium[i.e. the sac present around the heart]... this condition is not too common in lung cancer...
as lung cancer grows it may spread to other parts of the body.... lung cancer is classified in stages, which describes how far the cancer has grown and spread...
the long term outcome of lung cancer depends onhow much the cancer has grown or spread..
