Your hamster will probably not walk on that leg, perhaps dragging it. Also, I had a hamster that broke her ankle, and she chewed off her foot. I brought her to the vet, and they said that they could try different types of surgeries, but they can't use any anesthesia. I decided that putting her to sleep was the best choice for her, because the surgeries sounded very painful. :( Good luck, and I hope your hamster's leg isn't broken.

∙ 13y agoYour hamster's leg will stick out of its body at an odd angle, he might make groans, squeaks, or other sounds of pain or irritation, and he probably won't be moving around too much; not even for food. You might want to see an exotic animal vet if your hamster is displaying those symptoms.

∙ 12y agofeel around the spot you believe it is hurt at if you feel anything you don't believe is right take it to the vet but be very very gentle with it make sure you feel its stomach as well even if that is not where you think it is hurt at

∙ 12y agoIt would be limping. I'm no expert but you should of took it to the vets as soon as something was wrong, i bet it's in a lot of pain. take it to the vet he /she wil know what to do.
