Signs of infection include severe swelling, severe redness, and/or a yellow or green discharge that smells bad. An advanced infection can also include fever and/or chills. If you suspect you have an infection, see a doctor for antibiotics. Contrary to what you may have heard, antibiotics are the only thing that will fully cure an infection.
If you feel generalized area pain;
If your nose discharges copious amounts of green mucus;
If you are told that there is a stench of putrefaction about your head and shoulders;
If your nose cartilage begins to collapse and your nose sinks into your face;
Finally, if the infection spreads to the skull and brain, you will most likely be moribund, so you won't care too much.
If the area is exceptionally swollen or red weeks after, if there is blood or puss around the piercing or if there is a crust developing on or around the piercing, its likely to be infected. You should go and see your piercer and ask their advice on what to do!!!
The best way to know if your new piercing is infected is by the visual appearance. If the piercing is red or inflamed, it may be infected. It also may be hot to the touch.

it will close up or get infected
It depends on the type of piercing. Common signs are soreness, redness, puss and occasionally lumps.
It is called a nose piercing.
If its red, hurts and puffy around the pierceing
Where? on your nose? yeah but don't go close to the piercing I have,nothing really happens,it's just weird. everywhere else is fine I had make up on my nose when I pierced it. yes, as long as you are careful not to get it inside the piercing. ________________ I did nothing happened. ------------------------- You're not meant to, it could make the piercing infected. But that doesnt always happen. I'd just be careful ______________________ I wouldn't recommend it, or at least, not on the side of you nose with the piercing. Everywhere else is fine. But, keep your foundation, compact, and blush away from the area. The chances of your new piercing getting infected increases if any of your makeup products get near or into it. Better play it safe.
we do not know but for now it is staying
