The length of any line is infinite.
Otherwise nobody would know what was meant by parallel lines!
As far as we know, two lines can be perpendicular, or they can be parallel, but they can't be both.
If by four parallel lines you mean two pairs of parallel lines, then you would be looking for a parallelogram. An example of a parallelogram is at this address:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/41/Parallelogram.svgThe arrowhead lines along the sides designate that the opposite sides are parallel and of the same length. The single and double lines in each section show that the portions of line in each segment are identically sized.
Parallel means two separate lines in the same direction.
Parallel lines have the same slope. So if you know the slope of a line in question, or you can calculate it, then you know the slope of any line parallel to that line.
all right some body said that Ellipse Circle Oval but parallel shapes need to have lines so they are not parallel shapes so all i know that are not parallel is a diamond and a rhombus
Parallel, you should know that if you're not in kindergarten.
i dont know .l. >.<
Pretty much the only thing you need to know to determine if two lines are parallel is the gradient of those lines. Simply put, are the lines on the same plane?
parallel lines are what u r thinking of trust me i know im in colledge and we just went through all that stuff. ..... good luck on ur test
yepp you know its a trapezium because it has four sides and has 1 set of parallel lines :)
Well, A Rectangle is a parallelogram because there are 4 sets of lines that are parallel :) I dont know about the rhombus sorry :(! ~ A rhombus is only a parallelogram if: 1. It is a regular rhombus (where all the sides are the same length and there are 2 sets of parallel sides) 2. There is at least one pair of parallel sides.
